That's a good question. My oasis used to be to go in my room . . .alone . . . and read or turn on the TV for a few minutes. These days, though, I have a houseful of people who like to follow me in. I guess that's good, since they're my children :) But I do need to find an oasis . . . desperately!
That's a great quote by River Phoenix ~ I'd have to say I agree. I can close my eyes and listen to a particular piece of music that just TRANSPORTS me to where I wish to go.
